The Circadian Rhythm: Honouring a Woman's Internal Clock

The breath is the most fundamental rhythm sustaining life, but women( all beings do :) ) experience another profound cycle - the circadian rhythm, our internal 24-hour clock. This circadian rhythm governs biological processes like sleep-wake cycles, hormone release, body temperature, and digestion. Respecting this natural rhythm is crucial for overall health and wellness.


When the circadian rhythm is disrupted, it can lead to sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, metabolic issues like obesity and diabetes, and cardiovascular concerns. To maintain a healthy internal clock, aim for consistent sleep schedules, get exposure to natural light during the day, limit blue light at night, exercise regularly, manage stress, and nourish yourself with a balanced diet.


Aligning with this second cycle allows women to optimise energy, cognitive function, and overall well-being as they navigate the rhythms of womanhood.


Sarah's Journey to Circadian Harmony
